An active rotation harvest-tending yield farm

Introduction

When wandering into the land of DEFI, we often come across many dead farms with their prices plummeting close to ZERO. This is nothing new since the only way for the farms to survive is to constantly generate demand for their native token.

The team consists of a small group of 3 with 2 devs and 1 community manager and marketer. We have been in numerous yield farms and after getting rugged, dumped and scammed, we decided that it is time that we build our own sustainable farm where people can actually earn from.

Learning From Others

As mentioned before, the team members were all once a degen yield farmer. Jumping from chains to chains, once in a while we will chance upon a decent project that is under-marketed but still self-sustaining. From there, we come together with the various unique methods that different devs have formulated to help sustain their project.

Active Rotation Harvesting-Tending Yield Farm

CronianSwap is the first yield farm in Cronos that requires active management and participation by its farmer, known as an "active rotation harvest-tending" yield farm. As we adapted this model from Swift Finance from AVAX (Lasted more than 3 months now), their APR reset function is intriguing and has successfully captured the demand that is needed to keep the project running.

They have implemented an APR Reset features which we will talk about more under APR Reset Features tab. With little marketing, Swift Finance is able to retain its existing user while attracting new ones at the same time, although their price has dropped greatly due to their initial low liquidity which artificially pumped it up.

How do we adapt

Since the issue with Swift Finance was their initial low liquidity, we have decided that it is necessary for CronianSwap to opt for a presale IDO model. With the funds collected from the presale, the price reflected will be more accurate and liquid since we will be using most of the presale funds as the initial liquidity of the project.
